Princely collections of Liechtenstein: five centuries of European painting and sculpture
Founded in the middle of the 16th century,princely collection Liechtensteinis one of the most legendary private art collections in Europe. After World War II, the princely family decided to sell some of their most important paintings and sculptures, which were soon found at home in museums around the world, including the National Gallery of Art in Washington and the National Gallery of Canada.

The exhibition shows examples of about 60 artists such as Antico, Giuseppe Arcimboldo, Sandro Botticelli, Canaletto, Jean Simeon Chardin, Sir Anthony van Dyck, Fra Filipo and Filippino Lippi, Rembrandt van Rijn, Hyacinth Rigo and Sir Peter Paul Rubens.
