Magritte, Brothers and contemporary art
Rene Magritte Museum in Brussels announced the exhibition "Magritte, Brothers and contemporary art" that will allow you to look at the works of the great surrealist with a new perspective.

Even 50 years after the artist's death his works never fail to fascinate and surprise. They pull us from the familiar reality, turning the world upside down, forcing you to think about, and she did. Magritte casts doubt on our views and defies certainty. He continues to influence the arts far beyond his time – from pop art and conceptualism to the present day.

The exhibition highlights this effect by "dialogue" between the original works by Magritte and interpretations of contemporary artists. Best relationship with the works of the great surrealist traced in the works of Marcel Brothers, and his reflections concern the status of a facility, and the state of the language.

The exhibition will show the works (about 150) Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, ed Ruscha, ray Caesar and many other artists, sculptors, photographers.

The exhibition will run from October 13, 2017 to February 18, 2018 and will be a unique opportunity to plunge into the world of surrealism, to get acquainted with the best creations of our time, to update their understanding of the works of Rene Magritte.
