Dali. The Divine Comedy
Surrealist artist Salvador Dali (1904-1989) is known for his artistic landscapes, filled with irrational comparisons and erotic scenes.

This exhibition presents the most ambitious illustrated series of Dali: color woodcuts of the Divine Comedy, an epic poem by medieval Florentine writer Dante Alighieri (1265-1321). Written in 1320, this eternal text tells of Dante's journey through Christian other worlds: hell, purgatory and paradise.

«The Divine ComedyDali displays selected prints from this series that emphasize the artist’s characteristic surreal interpretation of each part of the comedy and how his images interact with Dante’s text.
