David Hockney: Drawings from Life
David Hockney (born 1937) is one of the most respected and internationally renowned artists living today.

Exhibition "Drawings from life"will be unique to studying Hockney's practice on paper with the help of a small group of models that he has repeatedly portrayed over the years: his muse and confidante, designer Celia Bertwell; his mother; his friend and curator Gregory Evans, printmaker Maurice Payne; and the artist himself. Each of these people was important to Hockney. Over time, he introduced them in various forms: pencil, pen and ink, pastel drawings, etchings and photographs. Repeatedly depicting these people for decades, Hockney gives viewers a unique view about how his skill developed over time.
