Van Gogh's greatest letters
Van Gogh was not only a talented artist, but also an avid writer of letters. Because of their fragility, his letters are rarely exposed. Exhibition "Van Gogh's greatest letters"is a unique opportunity to see Van Gogh's greatest letters along with his masterpieces.

Vincent Van Gogh wrote compelling letters about all aspects of his life: about his dreams and disappointments, his personal life, friendship and debate, and also about his fight against the disease.

He also wrote about his ambitions as an artist and often added sketches to his letters that he worked on, or to works that he had recently completed. Reading these letters, we seem to look over the artist’s shoulder and see how his work comes to life.
