Exhibition "Turner in January"includes works bequeathed to the Gallery by an outstanding collector Henry Vaughan, which span Turner's career, beginning with his early topographical drawings and ending with his atmospheric sketches of continental Europe in the 1830s and 40s.

Vogan indicated in his testament that these delicate watercolors should be “put on public display for free during January,” and his wishes have been faithfully fulfilled for over 100 years.
