The exposition presents a large collection of paintings and drawings, executed both by Repin himself, and by well-known Russian painters and engravers from among 150 students of the great artist.
The fact that Repin did a little engraving is quite interesting, and for art lovers it is simply amazing. And as a teacher, professor at the Academy of Arts, he prepared a galaxy of prominent Russian artists.
Visitors to the exhibition will see the works of V. A. Serov, one of Repin's favorite pupils; B. M. Kustodiev and I. S. Kulikov, who helped Repin to create a grandiose painting “Anniversary meeting of the State Council on May 7, 1901 on the centenary of the day of its foundation” in 1903, study for this painting “Portrait of the Minister of Railways S. AT. Rukhlova "; 1902 portrait of I. E. Repin by B. M. Kustodiev, works by I. E. Grabar, F. A. Malyavin, I. E. Braz, I. Ya. Bilibin, D. P. Kardovsky, K. A. Somov, A.P. Ostroumova-Lebedeva, I.I. Brodsky, F.M. Vakhrushov.
