To the Day of the artist, in the Sumy Regional Art Museum. Nikanor Onatsky hosts the exhibition "Artistic portrait of the Efimenko family". The project is dedicated to three generations of the famous Efimenko family.
Victor Efimenko (1952-2017) - “Ukrainian impressionist”. Born in Donetsk, graduated from the Crimean Art College, was chairman of the Sumy Regional Organization of the Union of Artists. From 1993 to 1997 he lived and worked in Paris. The artist's works were sold through the most famous auction houses in Europe. Roman Efimenko (1916-1996) worked in the industry of easel, book graphics and poster.
The exposition also acquaints with the works of Peter Stolyarenko (1925-2018), who taught at the Crimean Art College and with the paintings of the artist’s daughter Ekaterina Stolyarenko-Efimenko (1949), who currently lives in Sumy region. As well as the works of the sons of Victor Efimenko Grigory (1973) and Dmitry (1977), who were educated at the Sumy Children's Art School and graduated from the Kharkov Academy of Design and Arts.
