Ryazan State Regional Art Museum. I.P. Pozhalostina holds an exhibition of two artists from St. PetersburgVladimir and Andrey Vetrogonsky.

The exposition presents watercolor landscapes and graphics of the national artist of Russia Vladimir Alexandrovich Vetrogonsky and paintings by Andrei Vladimirovich Vetrogonsky, his city landscapes, still lifes and portraits.

Vladimir Alexandrovich Vetrogonsky (1923–2002) - People's Artist of Russia, member of the Union of Journalists, full member of the Russian Academy of Arts - belongs to the generation of Soviet realist artists of the second half of the 20th century.

The works of Andrei Vetrogonsky, his youngest son, are in the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg), the Museum of Modern Art (Moscow), as well as in museums and art galleries in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Vologda, private Russian and foreign collections. The artist’s work perfectly combines classical education and the traditions of the St. Petersburg avant-garde.
