Roy lichtenstein
The bold, graphic style of Roy Lichtenstein’s work is immediately recognizable, and its influence is still widespread.

Creating paintings of often monumental size, using his hand-painted dots, imitating the aesthetics of comics and Ben-Day commercial newsprint, his work became synonymous with the spreading and accelerating influence of popular culture of the time.

Onexhibition Grundy Art Gallery presents the work of the pioneer of the pop art movement, which exploded in the 1960s, and its influence is still widely visible today.
