The State Museum of the History of Religion in St. Petersburg holds an exhibition "In the name of the French people ...".

The exposition will allow visitors to see more than 50 exhibits from the museum’s funds: graphics, sculptures, rare books, telling about revolutionary reforms in the field of church-state relations in France.

The exhibition is dedicated to the 230th anniversary of the rebel Parisians taking the Bastille prison fortress - an event that marked the beginning of a series of radical political and social transformations, called the French Revolution. The exposition is complemented by a small section devoted to French thinkers and educators: Didro, Russo, Voltaire, who had a huge impact on the minds of contemporaries.
