About the exhibition
Museum of the History of Religion presents an exhibition “Frozen gods. Modern sculpture of St. Petersburg ".

The exhibition presents about 80 works of 23 sculptors working in St. Petersburg, members of the sculpture section of the St. Petersburg branch of the Union of Artists. In one museum space, the works of masters of sculpture, working in different styles and directions, but for whom the main theme is the search for the spiritual path and faith, are united.

The sources of inspiration for the masters were biblical scenes, the most important historical events associated with the Baptism of Russia, turning points in the history of the Russian Empire.
