The exhibition presents the work of the largest representative of the artistic culture of the Silver Age, whose works are still admired by descendants.
The project is dedicated to the famous solo exhibition. Anna Semenovna Golubkina (1864–1927)which took place in the winter of 1914-1915. She was named “In favor of the wounded” in connection with the outbreak of war. All income from tickets sold, postcards and casts of sculptures was transferred to help the wounded soldiers.
At the exhibition-memoirs, a fragment of the exposition of 1914-1915 will be reproduced, the sculptures stored in the funds of the Museum-workshop of A.S. Golubkina and in the department of sculpture of the Tretyakov Gallery. Also in the exhibition will be presented documents: a catalog and photographs of the exhibition of 1914, publications in the newspapers of 1915. The art of Anna Semenovna Golubkina had a significant influence on the development of the sculpture of the 20th century.
