In the 1980s, Igor Kozlov declared himself as a great master, possessing a keen sense of modernity, able to assert his creative vision, create memorable holistic significant images both in easel and monumental sculpture. With equal success, he worked in bronze and wood, granite and marble, and many other materials, revealing in his original works the depth of world view and the brightness of individuality, his own plastic style and versatility.

The many-sided art of Igor Aleksandrovich Kozlov became firmly established in the history of Russian and foreign art. Monuments created by the sculptor decorate squares and streets of cities of different countries (including a monument to Karl Fuchs in Kazan). The easel works of the author are represented in the collections of large domestic museums, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, and foreign private collections.
