Was born in Moscow. In 1978 he graduated from Moscow printing Institute. Specialty – a graphic artist. The head of the graduation project of D. D. Zhilinsky. From 1982 to 1984 Mar Daugaviete – fellow of the Union of artists of the USSR. Since 1984, Daugaviete – member of the USSR Union of artists (section of painting). Since 1978 is a permanent participant of youth Republican and all-Union exhibitions.
