Transcarpathian autumn

Painting, 1950-th , 55×69 cm

Description of the artwork «Transcarpathian autumn»

Autumn is what glorified Joseph Bokshay, his addiction and his favorite subject. Autumn Bokshaya is not a sad rainy season, but a holiday and nature generous to man. He was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR after the famous autumn landscapes and sky. Bokshay himself said that the most difficult thing to draw is the sky and clouds, because, according to him, most artists, the sky is either gray, dull and dull, or too bright, as it never is.
With the onset of autumn, he went to the Carpathians and drew for days on end. In the world of artists, only two fall existed: the fall of Levitan and the fall of Bokshay.

The picture will perfectly fit into both light and dark surroundings.

This is a picture from a personal collection, donated personally by Joseph. She is incredibly valuable and beautiful. If necessary, I will send more photos)
