1967 is considered the year of foundation of the Berd Historical and Art Museum (MBU "Bihm") museum.
The museum today is 16.5 thousand storage units, of which more than 1.5 thousand are the art fund. The museum fund is replenished annually with 300 museum items. The total exhibition area of all museum halls is 893.3 square meters, of which 209.4 square meters. m. - storage area.
Museum staff conduct research work, including in the state archives, receiving additional information and new facts about the biography of Berdsk. Every year the museum holds more than 100 exhibitions, as well as more than 150 events: museum readings, creative meetings, contests, game programs, lectures, etc.
