The art center was founded in February 2006 by the participants of the Mitki creative association, under the patronage of St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko, as a workshop, exhibition and creative center.
On February 9, 2006, a museum exposition was officially opened.
The art center hosts art exhibitions, creative meetings, poetry evenings, acoustic concerts, book presentations, workshops for children and the disabled.
About 11 exhibitions are held annually.
