Zinaida Serebryakova. From the collection of the State Russian Museum

Yaroslavl Art Museum presents the main event of the autumn exhibition season - the exhibition «Zinaida Serebryakova. From the collection of the State Russian Museum». Exactly at Russian MuseumOne of the largest collections of Serebryakova is kept, in which there are 60 paintings and about 200 graphic works.

In the Yaroslavl Museum, visitors can see 34 paintings and drawings. The exhibition provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the various periods and main themes in which one of the first outstanding Russian women-artists who entered the history of painting worked. The exhibition includes works written in the family estate Neskuchnoye near Kharkov, and paintings of the St. Petersburg period, as well as works created in Paris, which became the highlight of the exhibition.

The exhibition in Yaroslavl, despite the small number of exhibits, represents the whole genre variety of Zinaida Serebryakova’s art.
