Angels of the World in Cheboksary

A small angel with a Chuvash alphabet and more than 60 pictures of the unique art project "Angels of the World" will come to Cheboksary!

July 26, 2018 at 16 o'clock in the Center of Contemporary Art of the State Chemistry and Mining University will open a unique exhibition of paintings from the collection of the International Art Project "Angels of the World". Over 65 works of artists from Russia, Great Britain, Macedonia, Croatia, Belarus, Ukraine, Italy, Singapore, Canada and India on the theme "Guardian Angel" will be seen by visitors. At the opening, the audience will be able to talk with the PR-director of the project Oleg Rovd, take part in writing the painting "Angel of Chuvashia", buy souvenirs with the pictures they like, and also find out what thoughts and feelings the artists put in their work.

"The art project is not tied to any particular religion. The authors say in their works about Lubov, Inspiration, Gratitude and Unity. There are many negative events in the world, there are a lot of violence and military clashes. We want to bring more good, warmth and light to the world with the help of this project, to try to transform the negative energy accumulated on planet Earth. In art, in painting, this Power is! For seven years, 365 artists from all over the world will take part in the project, a unique art object, a kind of "Calendar of Angels" will be created. Now for 4 years, "Angels of the World" have already included in the exhibition 225 paintings from 225 artists from 20 countries. 79 works are now in Europe, in Prague. We do not doubt that the Angels' exhibition will be warmly received by the audience. My mother is a chuvash, so I'm especially happy to bring pictures to Cheboksary. Quite recently, unexpectedly for us, an artist from Sochi for the project wrote a picture, where a little girl with a Chuvash linguist is depicted. I will tell you the history of its creation at the opening of the exhibition. We will be happy if the Chuvash artists also have interesting pictures on the theme "Guardian Angel", - said Oleg Rovda, PR-director of "Angels of the World".

Background of the project:
