Art means everything. Expressionism overview

The Shabo Museum jointly with the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum is holding an exhibition“Art means everything. Expressionism Review ".

The exposition features about three dozen paintings and sculptures by contemporary masters, incl. Karel Appel, Hendrik Schabo, Kees van Dongen, James Ensor, Willem de Kooning, Hermann Kreider, Claude Monet, Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, Charlie Turop, Theo Woolvkemp and Osip Zadkin.

Together, these works provide a fresh perspective on Expressionism in the Netherlands, Europe and beyond, incl. with works by Monet, Munch and Picasso. The exhibition explores the predecessors of Expressionism, works from the heyday of the movement and important post-war events.
