Kiev gallery "AVS-art" presents a personal exhibition of Valery Shkarupa "Equinox". The exposition includes selected works of the master from 2002 to 2020.
“Valeriy Shkarupa’s assets on the dynamics of color and tonal masses, on verified and carefully calculated compositional solutions, skillfully superimposed layered backgrounds see real feelings of beauty and the culture of constructing an abstract painting form,” notes art critic Oleg Koval.
Valery Shkarupa was born in 1950 in Sumy. Works in painting, drawing, ceramics. He studied at the Moscow Institute of Restoration. The author of the idea and curator of international projects "Cancer-Ceramics" since 1993. Since 1997 - a member of the All-Ukrainian creative association "BZ-art". Works are in many art museums in Ukraine, as well as in private collections in Ukraine, Armenia, Italy, Germany, Israel, Switzerland, France, Canada, Egypt, and the USA.
