Exhibition December 4, 2019 − January 19, 2020
The Russian Academy of Arts (PAX) in the chamber hall of the House of Klyuev presents an exhibitionZooGraphics. Sergey Tsigal ».

The exposition presents more than 70 works by the artist, performed in different techniques, including etching, silk screen printing, screen printing and stamping on paper.

In the works of Sergei Tsigal almost always there is an element of magic and experiment. It is as if animals and insects - butterflies, grasshoppers, fish and frogs - are collected in the laboratory of a natural scientist, recorded in the beautiful free rhythm of graphic compositions. The accuracy of the drawing and the fine selection of techniques give the impression of man-madeness, the individual character of each work. The author’s works are in museum collections of many leading museums and galleries in Russia - the Pushkin Museum. A.S. Pushkin, the State Russian Museum, the State Darwin Museum, the Khanty-Mansiysk Museum and several other museums, in the collections of the Russian State Library, as well as in private collections in Russia, the USA, Sweden, England, France, Denmark, Israel and many other countries.
