The Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin presents the exhibition "Lucy and Derill", which will acquaint viewers with portraits of the mothers of artists Lucien Freud and Chantal Joffe.
This exhibition focuses on the complex relationship between mother and child over time. Both Freud and Ioffe were attracted by the intensity of this connection, and especially the difficulty in seeing their mothers with adult eyes.
