Kiev gallery Triptych Global Arts Workshop presents a multimedia installation of Ukrainian contemporary artist Yuri Musatov "Invasion". An extraordinary project combines sculpture, painting and sound installation. He establishes a connection between the ancient sculptural tradition of busts on pedestals and the futuristic images of Martians on flying saucers.
Yuriy Musatov is a Ukrainian contemporary artist, best known for his ceramic creations. Born in 1981 in the Sumy region. He graduated from the Lviv National Academy of Arts. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, member of the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva. A regular participant in personal and group exhibitions, art projects, symposia, ceramic biennale in Ukraine, Spain, Italy, China, Latvia, Moldova, South Korea, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, USA, Thailand, Turkey, Hungary, Switzerland. Lives and works in Kiev.
