The Kazan Kremlin State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve holds an exhibition in the halls of the Hermitage-Kazan Center"Matisse, Picasso, Chagall ..." The Art of Western Europe of the 1910s - 1940s in the Hermitage Collection ".

The exposition includes not only traditional works of avant-garde and art deco painting, sculpture and graphics. A significant part of it also consists of objects related to a new kind of art that was born only in the last century: collages, movie posters, samples of costumes, etc.

Exhibition “Matisse. Picasso. Chagall ... "- this is the first attempt to present the art of Europe in the 1910s - 1940s on the example of works from the Hermitage collection. The exhibition for the first time contains objects stored in different departments of the museum, created by masters of different countries, different generations, different political genres and art biases, in order to comprehend through works of art an era that remains in the shadow of the avant-garde and the great war.
