Gray time. Artistic Research by Jeremias Altman and Andreas Tanzer

In addition to their solo careers, Jeremias Altmann and Andreas Dancer have been collaborating on the project for several years. ”Gray time"- an ever-growing collection focused on decline and destruction.
Last spring, artists broke with their usual practice — working in strict isolation in their workshops — in favor of a joint Bruchteil oil painting, which they created in the public galleries of the Kunsthistorisches Museum.
In several galleries, they interpreted artifacts from Ancient Egypt to classical antiquity and paintings of the 16th and 17th centuries. Simultaneous work on the same picture is a determining element of cooperation between Tanzer and Altman.
