Peter Gritsik. Reflections of reality

In Lutsk, the Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art Korsakov presents the project of Pyotr Gritsyk "Reflections of reality ". This is a retrospective of the artist’s works of different periods of creativity. The author’s associative painting combines classical and non-figurative art, symbolism of archetypes and dramatic worldviews of modern man.
Petr Gritsik was born in 1944 in Poland. He graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, faculty of ceramics. He lived in Chernivtsi. Member of numerous national, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1989. He works in the field of easel painting, monumental art, ceramics and art photography. The author's works were exhibited at exhibitions in Denmark, France, Russia, and the USA. Author of books Reflections of Reality. Since 1990, lives in New York.
