Gallery "Portal 11" is an exhibition of paintings by Svetlana Agranovskoy "Transitional State."
Agranovskaya Svetlana was born in 1985. in the city of Dnieper.
From 2004-2009, she studied in the Dnipro Theater and Art College, the department of painting.
From 2009-2015, she studied at NAOMA, workshop of temple painting Storozhenko.
The “Transitional State” project consists of three series of paintings. Common to all works is the presence of a certain point of reference - a recognizable object that is easy to read and may seem like a mountain, a tree or an eye. Familiar objects are surrounded by decorative abstract forms that create context, but not narrative.
Despite the presence of a genre component, which develops into an abstract form, the picture does not become, in the strict sense of the word, neither genre nor abstract, but stops and freezes in this moment of transition.
