Treasures of Russian museums

Exhibition June 12 − July 28, 2019
In the Kaliningrad Museum of Fine Arts opened the first exit exhibition “Treasures of Russian museums”. This exhibition is a continuation of the exhibition of the same name held inCEH "Manege" (Moscow) in November 2018.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see canvases painted by great artists: Tropinin, Shishkin, Kuindzhi, Kramskoy, Serov, Repin, Kustodiev, Krymov, Grabar, Ossovsky, Zhilinsky, Pimenov. The works of Rokotov, Borovikovsky, Goncharova from the collection are presented especially for the Kaliningrad exposition. The State Tretyakov Gallery.

The exhibition includes about 50 works from 16 museums in Russia, including 2 works from Kaliningrad: “Russia” by B. Lavrenko (Kaliningrad Museum of Fine Arts) and “Letter from the Front” by A. Laktionov (Kaliningrad History and Art Museum). The exhibition presents all genres of painting: portrait (parsunny, noble, merchant), landscape, historical canvases and genre scenes from the end of the 17th to the middle of the 20th century.
