"Escape Gallery". Angelina Merenkova

Gallery pop / off / art Center for Contemporary Art Winery presents a new multimedia project Angelina Merenkova "Escape Gallery".
The exhibition will feature traditional works of Merenkova, incl. embroidery on fabric in various forms, from transparency to imitation of canvas on a frame, objects and video. Three rooms suggest three thematic sections with their own exposition, where works of art become not just carriers of meanings, but tools for perception of reality.
For his works, the author resorts to the use of a wide range of techniques - from painting, installations and photography, to the practice of sewing. Her works are in numerous private collections in Russia and abroad.
