Simone Fattal: Works and Days

The New York Museum of Modern Art presents the first in the United States personal museum exhibition of works by Simone Fattal (b. 1942) "Works and Days".

Simone Fattal was born in Damascus, Syria, and grew up in Lebanon, lived in California for a long time, now lives and works in Paris.

This retrospective combines more than 200 works created by Simon over the past 50 years: abstract images and figurative ceramic sculptures, paintings, watercolors and collages. The subjects of the exhibits are the most diverse: military narratives, landscape painting, ancient history, mythology and Sufi poetry.
