Gallery of the National National University of Arts (ZNUI) holds a solo exhibition of paintings by Alexander Pesterev "Closed garden".
The exhibition presents paintings of the artist in his characteristic minimalist style.
Pesterev's works are a philosophical immersion in nuances of color and tone applied to a canvas. The minimalism in the use of the means of expression inherent in the artist, the abstractness of the form, expressionism in the method of transmitting the concept bring the artist’s work closer to the masters and trends of world art of the second half of the 20th - early 21st centuries.
Non-standard composite solutions, complex colors, attention to the textural construction of the plane and the choice of topics made the work of Alexander Pesterev visible and recognizable at Russian and international exhibition platforms.
