The exhibition presents samples of painting and graphics of both the contemporaries of the great poet and artists of a later time.
The name of the exhibition is explained by the pictorial work presented by I.I. Levitan "Again I visited ...". This work as an epigraph to all the other paintings opens a series where you can see Moscow, St. Petersburg, Odessa, the Crimea and many cozy corners of Russia connected with the poet’s stay (Petrovsky Castle, Vyazemsky-Ostafyevo estate, Olenyny-Priyutino estate, etc.)
The works of the poet’s contemporaries (AE Martynov, EM Korneyev, IA Ivanov, and others) convey the authenticity of the Pushkin sites.
No less interesting are the works of a later time (A.N. Benoit, A.A. Osmerkin, N.S. Goncharova), in which the poetry of Pushkin's places is felt.
