People's Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Gabda is a classic of the Transcarpathian school of painting and an unsurpassed colorist. The founders of the Transcarpathian school of painting Adalbert Erdelyi, Iosif Bokshay and Fyodor Manaylo were known to his teachers in the specialty. Some of the artist's works are kept in the funds of the Transcarpathian, Kharkov, Simferopol art museums, in galleries of Kazakhstan, Canada, and Japan.
Vladislav Gabda - Honored Artist of Ukraine (2009). Winner of the award of J. Bokshay and A. Erdeli (2005). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He works in an abstract philosophical manner, is in constant search for expression, he is experimenting a lot with color, materials and the plane. Member of the collective national and international exhibitions. The artist's works are in museums and in private collections.
