Oscar Murillo. Catalyst

Exhibition November 29, 2018 − January 6, 2019
Kukje Gallery in Seoul presents a personal exhibition of Oscar Murillo's "Catalyst". The exhibition includes 20 works by the artist, created over the past six years, an installation of stretching black canvases, drawings, paintings and videos. The artist views art as a catalyst for reconciliation with the past, the present, and the future.

Oscar Murillo is a young British artist of Colombian descent who lives and works in London. Critics equate the works of Oscar to what Jean-Michel Basquiat created, and call him one of the brightest contemporary artists. An integral part of his work is performance, which Murillo himself interprets as a kind of collective action and communication between people.
