Tao Fa. Sun as an object

Exhibition December 1, 2018 − January 20, 2019
Gallery Soka Art Center in Beijing, an exhibition of young artist Tao Fa "The sun as an object". The exhibition includes 20 works of the Hmong artist (Hmong - the self-name of the nationality from the mountainous regions in southern China), which is known in the art world for its bold, sentimental and mysterious artistic language.

Since childhood, the Tao Fa has saved pleasant memories of wildlife. His feelings are not limited to a passion for her beauty, but also include fears of the mythical power she possesses. Being Hmong, Tao firmly believes in universal spirituality and respects the life paths of all living beings. He perceives the world directly, emotionally and authenticly, using painting as the most effective means of communication. The creative process of Tao relies mainly on his intuition and improvisation, with little interest in techniques — bold colors and calligraphic strokes.

Tao Fa in 1984 was born in Yunnan Province. He graduated from the School of Art and Design, and then the University. He lives and works in his native province. Participant of numerous exhibitions.
