Paul Klee

National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa presents a solo exhibition Paul Klee from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibition consists of 75 drawings, watercolors and paintings. The works of the outstanding German avant-garde artist, whom the Nazis denounced as the representative of "degenerative art", had a noticeable influence on the world post-war art. The exhibition shows the entire creative path of the artist - from childhood, through his most prolific period as a teacher in the famous Bauhaus, until his death in 1940.
