Igor Gnativ. I look, I think, I am surprised

In the ProArt Gallery there is a personal exhibition of the artist Igor Gntiva “I Look, I Think, I Am Surprised”, where the cycle of picturesque landscapes was first presented.

The paintings of Igor Gnative reflect the author’s inner moods, states of nature and the variability of the effects of light. The main themes of the artist are the landscapes of Ukraine, the Carpathians and the images of his native Lviv. The peculiarity of the art of Igor Gnavat is the author's technique of painting - painting with oil paints without using solvents and brushes. As the author notes: "The paint is applied on a primed cardboard with a palette knife, which allows you to transfer the full depth of paint and the volume of each stroke, forming a lace of lines and colors."

Artist Igor Gnativ was born in 1963 in Lviv. Education artist received first in the Lviv art school, later in the Lviv School of Applied and Decorative Arts. I. Trush and Lviv National Academy of Arts.
