Born in 1946 in Nizhny Novgorod. Has incomplete secondary education. Since 1963, started working at the factory "Red Sormovo". He served in the Navy. Get involved in sports. In 1978, working in a factory in the editing team, suffered an industrial injury and received a disability pension. He worked as a watchman in the river port. Since 1978, constantly engaged in painting. Since 1988 began to paint still lifes and rural landscapes. Held several solo exhibitions in Nizhny Novgorod and in Moscow. The work was presented at international exhibitions of naive art "INSITA" in Bratislava (Slovakia, 1994, 1997 and 2000). Member of traveling exhibitions of the Museum of naive art: "Pushkin's images in creativity of naive artists of Russia", exhibited in 1999 in nine cities of Russia and in Cannes (France) Palais des festivals. Works are in the collections of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-reserve, Museum of naive art in Moscow, Museum-reserve "Tsaritsyno", Nizhny Novgorod state art Museum and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
