In the same year he writes, "adoration of the shepherds" (Rome, Gal. Borghese) and the frescoes in the Church. Sant'andrea in via Flaminia. He maintains contacts with the representatives of the second generation of Mannerist artists (Vasari, Salviati, Daniele da Volterra, Taddeo Zuccaro and Muziano). In this context, associated with Michelangelo should be considered and painted Tibaldi in that era (the arch in the Cappella San Dionigi TS. San Luigi dei Francesi and painting in the hall of Paolina in the castle of the Holy angel, 1550-1553). Next year Tibaldi sent to Bologna, where for cardinal Poggi creates his most significant paintings, full of exciting angles - scenes "History Odyssey" in two halls of Palazzo Poggi (1554-1556). In the same Palace he decorated the fireplace ("Hercules on the pyre") and wrote the midst of the frieze ("History of St. Paul"). In 1554-1556 Tibaldi works in TS. San Giacomo Maggiore (chapel of the Poggi; finished Prospero Fountain). In 1558 - 1561, he makes a trip to the Marche and works as an architect and painter (Ancona, frescoes in the Palazzo Ferretti; Loretto, frescoes of "Santa Casa", died). In 1567 Tibaldi became the main architect of the Milan Cathedral. For 20 years he worked in Lombardy, Novara, Varallo and Pavi. Having heard of his fame, Philip II invited artist in the Escorial in Madrid, where Tibaldi, following Federigo, Zuccaro and Luca Cambiaso, writes frescoes in the cloisters and the library (1588 - 1595, 46 "Scenes from the life of Christ").
