My name is Marina Kovaleva.
I was born in Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai in 1987, then the whole family moved to a warm and sunny city by the sea.
Graduated from the art school in Evpatoria and the National Academy of Arts in Kharkov. Drawing and painting since early childhood.
I am a member of the Union of Russian Artists.
Oil is the material that allows me to transfer my thoughts, my perception of the world, to invite the viewer to a joint journey. Painting for me is an eternal search for feelings and emotions, an opportunity to convey my feelings to people, to share my fantasies, reflections on life. That's why surrealism is my favorite genre. I also create graphics and illustrations for books.
My paintings participate in exhibitions, are published in magazines and catalogs, are in private collections: Russia, America, Latvia, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Belarus.
