画作描述 «Trinity. Ext.vers.»
The painting "Trinity" depicts a genre scene from an electric train near Moscow. It shows a sense of a strabascopic effect, in a moment of percipient outburst, for example, as when there is a sudden change of light.
Looking at people on public transport, we often unwittingly write the life story of these strangers. Based only on the visual component, the imagination completes the missing details of their images. The people sitting across the street become the heroes of our most improbable stories. We begin to look closely at the colors shimmering on their clothes, their jewelry, their accessories. Details become important, as they complete the missing pieces of stories.
The painting depicts arch-epic characters. My task as an author was to depict the typical and at the same time, unbelievable characters of an everyday story. Similar to a real-life public transportation journey, looking at the canvas, the viewer can write his or her own story for each of the participants in the scene.
