In VoL 1, I tried to capture the inner chaos that often hides behind the masks of everyday life. The skull is a symbol of our mortality, and the neon eyes are an attempt to look into the depths of the subconscious. The crown, although it seems to be a symbol of power, actually emphasizes the absurdity of many of our aspirations. The chaotic strokes are a visual metaphor for the emotional state when thoughts and feelings are intertwined in a messy tangle.
