Situated in the historical center of the Slovenian capital, the Museum keeps the city's cultural heritage: from the prehistorical settlement dating 45 centuries back till our days - the museum funds store over 200 000 exhibits. Archaeological parks are of particular interest. Visitors can see the perfectly preserved remains of Roman houses and the city wall of Emon renovated by the famous architect Joze Plecnik.
Since 2009, the City Museum of Ljubljana has been working as a team with ten art galleries and exhibition spaces of the city to embody creative approaches in updating the existing professional standards in the museum sector.
The new free application from Arthive combined all the events, expositions and news of this network of exhibition venues - and they are numerous! Now all the information about the busy life of MGML (Muzej in galerije mesta Ljubljane) is available on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, as well as on the devices running on the Android platform.
