Boulevard Montmartre in Paris. France, 1897
The painting belongs to the series of landscapes depicting the Boulevard Montmartre. Like Claude Monet, Pissarro devoted to one and the same motive of the whole cycle works. To create this series, he took a room at Grand Hotel de Russi, where he was seen Large boulevards.
