Fibovich Gantman

Author of landscapes and still lifes, the artist movie. Born in the village of Dukora, Belarus. Studied in 1938 – 1941 in the Vitebsk art school, in 1949 he graduated from the art faculty of VGIK (he studied under F. Bogorodsky and P. Kotov). Maintained friendly attitude and worked together with P. Konchalovsky. Since 1949, the art Director of a film Studio. Dovzhenko, where he worked with A. Buchma, S. Bondarchuk, Sergei Parajanov (movie: "Taras Shevchenko", "Earth", "storm Born", "Ukrainian Rhapsody", etc.). A member of the artists Union of the USSR from 1961. Awarded medals. Lives and works in Kiev.
