Worked in the genre of still life and landscape, painted the interior. Born in Klagenfurt, Austria. From 1901 to 1906 he studied at the art studios of Vienna, 1906 – 1909 – Paris, in 1909 – 1912 in the Vienna graduate school of applied and decorative arts. From 1912 lived and worked in Lviv.
