Description of the artwork «Sacred Moments With The Reclining Buddha»

A group of pilgrims gathered around the gilded reclining Buddha statue, paying their respects and praying. Some clasped their hands, some placed offerings, showing their respect. The statue was covered with a golden cloth embroidered with Bodhi leaf motifs, surrounded by fresh flowers and scriptures. The space was solemn, the eyes of Buddhists and monks were all directed towards the statue with deep sincerity.
