As he immersed himself in the minds of the people who came to him, he could feel the subtle connections, like thin threads reaching out to hundreds of other beings' minds. Worlds that never existed opened up before him, but the impressions he experienced seemed as vivid as the reality around him.

Sometimes he noticed that those who came were connected by common invisible lines, as if a voice were guiding them. Something large and curious was looking for a way to contact him.
